Earthquakes strike suddenly, violently and without warning. We all have in our heads the images of disastrous earthquakes that shatter human lives all across the grid of the continent. As human beings, we are naturally incline to have a constant feeling of psychological reaction that tends to illuminate when a certain situation is not happening yet, and that we are likely to disregard and pay no attention to things like prevention and preparation even before any loss is incurred. With these facts, hundreds of thousand casualties are struck and devastated by quakes that recurrently lurk a population of around 1 billion living in seismically active regions.
Indeed, this natural phenomenon occurs over a million times annually. When the ground starts shaking – where would you fleece for a shelter? What would be the utmost sheltered place for safeguarding yourself? Primarily, the best way to shield yourself when you are inside a house during an earthquake is to stand in the doorway or crouch under a desk or table.
Every portion of the building’s structure can be vulnerable to external elements, thus premature deterioration of construction materials is inevitable. These problems often result in costly maintenance and repair, exorbitant energy expenditures, poor indoor air quality – even a shortened lifespan for the most significant asset, the building itself.
To provide a sturdy foundation for residential houses and buildings, the wall and ceiling structure needs a high performance envelope that provides unyielding protection from the elements. But even after resisting to the earthquake magnitude, countless buildings are still extremely smashed and damaged because of the lack of a durable building structure. After an earthquake, however, fast and economical repair techniques are required to restore the buildings to service within a short space of time. Now, there’s a prodigious technology in construction that provides systems solution with time tested methods and technology to reinforce walls, columns and ceilings engineered for compatibility and performance. This is a very different approach from traditional “systems” offerings as the new technology has the ability to provide a broader range of solutions for both new construction and restoration.”
To achieve this, cracked concrete can be injected with epoxy resin-based and reinforced with externally bonded carbon fiber fabric technology. Heavily damaged concrete might be replaced by repair mortar or grout pouring mortar, while additional reinforcement is bonded to existing concrete using anchoring adhesive or post-installed bolt anchoring technology.
Cracked masonry walls in typical apartment buildings present a serious risk to inhabitants even during small aftershocks. The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Regional 7 (PICE) has performed a series of tests with large scale masonry walls subjected to a simulated earthquake. Following the serious damage sustained, a layer of this Carbon Fibre Technology reinforcement embedded in mortar was applied to the walls. Compared to the original walls, damaged walls that were subsequently repaired are able to resist earthquakes over 2.5 times more powerful. This shows that substantial protection is possible even before any damage is suffered.

3 Solutions to for Typhoon, Earthquake, and Tsunami
1. Put handrails on existing 40 feet concrete Posts so people can climb during Tsunami
40 feet concrete post are proven to survive Tsunami , Storm Surge and Flood. You can review Tsunami videos in Japan 2011, you can see concrete electric pole are still standing. At least maybe 5 to 8 people can climb together to a concrete pole, just maybe. During tsunamis, electricity will be turn-off so its safe to climb, water will flow easily because the concrete pole is slim and thin so it will survive the impact of tsunami.
We can save human lives by putting handrails on every existing concrete posts so people can climb right away. We know that tsunami comes after Earthquake as soon as 20 to 30 minutes, so evacuating to higher grounds might be impossible for people living in the seashore to run or drive to evacuation center kilometers away, the traffic on the road will make it impossible for people to get to elevated grounds far away.
To save humans lives, we need to put handrails on every concrete poles especially poles that are near the seashores or coastal areas. Handrails are cheap and fast to accomplish than building elevated dome houses or evacuation centers.
It is important for me because i also live in a small island in Philippines. Our house is about 900 meters from the sea, our place is Bagumbayan 2 Maribago Mactan Cebu Philippines. I saw tsunami videos and pictures of Yolanda - Haiyan aftermath of Storm Surge, we need to save human lives first.
2. For the OLD people and Young children that can not climb the posts and coconut trees
we need a bigger life saver ball that we can place the old people and young children inside if we have enough time .
3. Elevated Evacuation Dome Centers for mass evacuation
To save houses, we need elevated dome houses
Thailand 2004 Tsunami -
Put handrails on existing coconut tress so people can climb during tsunami

you dont have to run for elevated ground, you need vertical safety towers like the coconut trees and 40 feet concrete posts

If we have a lot of time, we can all run to an elevated evacuation dome center
3. Elevated Evacuation Dome Centers for mass evacuation

Thailand 2004 Tsunami -
Put handrails on existing coconut tress so people can climb during tsunami

you dont have to run for elevated ground, you need vertical safety towers like the coconut trees and 40 feet concrete posts
Tsunami Solution 40 Feet Concrete Posts
Dome house with 30 feet metal tower as vertical evacuation during tsuname.
Thailand 2004 Tsunami -
Put handrails on existing coconut tress so people can climb during tsunami

you dont have to run for elevated ground, you need vertical safety towers like the coconut trees and 40 feet concrete posts
these are dome houses that survive a hurricaine, storm surge.

every post should have a handrail for people to climb during tsunami so they dont need to run

Put handrails on existing coconut tress so people can climb during tsunami

you dont have to run for elevated ground, you need vertical safety towers like the coconut trees and 40 feet concrete posts
handrail for every concrete post so that people can climb during flood, storm surge and tsuname

Allow the water, tsuname, flood water to flow

All we need is to add hand rails to existing 40 feet concrete pole for people to climb during tsuname.

Dome houses are typhoon, earthquake, tornado proof houses, by adding a 40 feet concrete posts in a triangular shape then you have a tsunami tower to climb to.

allow the water to flow, we need elevated dome houses and elevated evacuation center domes.
you can see that 40 foot concrete pole survive during the tsunami in Japan 2011. all japanese need to do is add a handrails so people can climb these posts.
these are dome houses that survive a hurricaine, storm surge.
we can also use a tsuname life save, or tsuname survival pod. Japanese have similar tsunami life saver, the color is yellow.
Tsunami & Storm Surge Solution - Vertical Evacuation

40 feet concrete Posts - survived both 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami .. if installed beside each house, you have a life saver, just save life.. Life first.
40 feet concrete posts can be seen here in Japan tsunami 2011 video, if we can just put something that we can climb into these concrete posts, then we can save a lot of lives during tsunami or storm surge.

we can have an elevated dome house or simply a 40 feet concrete post as vertical evacuation
Coastal area like in Mactan, Tacloban Leyte, Samar, Bantayan should have a lot of 40 feet concrete posts around its coast lines. and houses within 1 kilometer from the beach should also have 40 feet concrete posts as vertical evacuation for people who are far from their own houses. If we have these 40 feet posts installed in many houses then we dont have to run or drive to far away evacuation center. During an Earthquake that starts in the Ocean, there will be very small time for a person to run to higher grounds. A 40 feet posts everywhere is a lot better and effective since they can just climb into it once they are far from their own home of from the high ground or evacuation center or higher buildings.
Yolanda Haiyan Typhoon Solution
Philippine President can call for a force Evacuation and people should follow and live the place incase of super typhoon. They should be given free or atleast 50% discount airplane and ship tickets.
People can choose between ECOSHELL with 30 feet tower, or the 3 story Dome with a steel roof top
Less damages if we let the surge and tsunami flow - and more space for grass and animals too on the ground
Coastal areas also need typhoon, earthquake and storm surge, tsunami proof dome houses and a 30 feet high tower that people can climb too when there is a storm surge.
Yolanda Typhoon House Design for Tacloban Leyte
We can have an elevated dome house or simply a 40 feet concrete post as vertical evacuation.
Please Support Tsunami Solution Petition.

We need a 3 level approach in Solving Typhoon, Earthquake, and Tsunami
1. 40 feet concrete posts & coconut trees with handrails - for strong people that can climb
2. Elevated Evacuation Dome Centers - for Mass evacuation
3. Tsunami Life Saver Ball - for kids and weak old people who cant climb the posts

Coastal areas like tacloban city leyte needs a new house design, a curve house design so the water can flow easily, something that can withstand strong winds, and wtihstand earthquake. it also needsa 30 feet high steel tower that people can climb just in case there is flooding or storm surge or even hurricaine.
I hope the government will offer this type of house, a long dome with a 30 feet high climbing tower for tsunami or storm surge.
detach your whole concrete house wall, floor and columns from Earth so it wont shake during earthquake
